Morning Prayer Gatherings

The fellowship has a morning prayer meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 AM each Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Upper Room. It is a powerful and encouraging time as we make contact with the Lord, hear His voice, feel His burdens, and pray His prayers. One of our main emphases has been to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a visitation of God to greater Lafayette.

"They all joined constantly together in prayer…" (Acts 1:15)

"After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly" (Acts 4:31)

Monday Night Prayer Meeting

Because of the value put on prayer by the Lord Himself, we meet for two hours on Monday evening for a time of concentrated prayer. All are encouraged to come. Those attending are expected to fast for the day before coming to the Upper Room at 6:00 PM. Depending on how the Holy Spirit directs us, we might pray for the Church, missionaries sent out from the Upper Room, world evangelism, our nation, our leaders, revival, etc.

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." (Eph 6:18)
